Well, its been a few days since my last post. Seems now all three of us in my house are now sick with a sinus cold. It started out with Isaac having a cold, then I had a migraine, and now we can add Daddy to the list of having a cold. Hope all of you are taking care of yourselves because it seems everywhere you turn, someone is sick!! Stock up on your vitamin C!.
I thought it would be fun to show you a couple pictures of hand stamped silk scarves that I have done. They are so pretty and with the few I have made lately they have quite a happy 'spring' look to them.

I will begin by telling you the scarves are white and 100% silk. We always stamp the scarves with Craft ink as this is a pigment ink that is suitable for materials and is washable without fading. This particular scarf if stamped with our Petal Prints stamp set. This stamp set is classified as a 'two-step' stamp as you layer the image one over the other. I stamped the first part of the flower in Pixie Pink and the second image, over the first, in Pink Passion. The leaves were stamped using Certainly Celery.

The second scarf here was stamped using another two-step stamp set - Flower Fest. I used only 3 colours for this particular scarf also. I used Regal Rose for the fisrt layer of the two step stamping on both the large and small flower. I then stamped the second image of both flowers with Rose Red giving it that finished more 3-d look. The little leaves were stamped with Garden Green.

Here is the same scarf but I have added more leaves to this one. It just gives it a bolder look. Again, the leaves are stamped in Garden Green and two-step stamped.
This scarf has got a very
retro look to it! It is stamped with

the Simply Circles stamp set. Again, I used only Rose Red and Regal Rose craft ink.
I hope you've enjoyed today's blog. Happy stamping and crafting!
